Is the Joy of your Christmas in the Presents or in the Presence?

Isn't Christ's Presence Superior to Christmas Presents?
Unlike Christ’s presence, Christmas presents have no lasting value and cannot, therefore, bring lasting joy or satisfaction. Individuals can get tired of them. Presents can also become old and outdated and can fade and get broken or even lost after a short while. The gift of Christ’s presence, however, will never lose its newness. It will never fade or wear out. It will never lose its power to transform lives. Psalm 16:11 tells us that “in [God’s] presence, there is fullness of joy”. Psalm 36:7-9 also goes on to say, “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life”
