GREAT FAITH IN GOD PURSUES GOD

Even though this Syrophoenician woman was not supposed to come to Jesus at this time, she came to Jesus anyway and sought Jesus in a place where Jesus wanted not to be seen. The bible says that Jesus did not want anyone to know that he was in this place.  But Mark records and says that Jesus could not be hidden.

There might be needs or challenges in your life that no one else can solve, and the earlier you come to that understanding, the better for you and me and this should make us learn to pursue God.  This woman broke all protocol. She was looked as a despised Syrophoenician, a Greek, a Gentile and as a dog -- but nevertheless came to Jesus for help.

I don't know what challenges you may have in life at this point in time, but I would like to encourage you with this fact: Jesus may be hidden from you as it was in the case of this woman, but if you pursue Him as she did, He will have time for you.
